Children are flowers of paradise. Undoubtedly they are the most beautiful and precious creation of God. These flowers are innocent both internally and externally that is why they are called the beauty of this world. When children go to schools wearing uniforms and holding bags on their shoulders, parents feel a pleasure through their purity.
But there are many children who cannot go to school due to different hindrances i-e financial issues, distressed circumstances that faced by them in their lives and so on. These innocent flowers can only watch the school going children with regret full eyes and can only wish of getting knowledge by going school. They are forced to earn money for themselves and for their families too. Child labor is declared a crime which should be banned worldwide. These children are also a part of our society who has forgotten the happiness of their infancy.
Allah has given human beings the advantage of wisdom to explore ways to protect the suffering humanity. Children are the flowers of heaven; they are innocent souls and called the beauty of this world. Wearing school clothes and struggling to enhance their future to serve the suffering humanity, they look pure and vigorous. But there exists so many other kids also who do not have access to schools due to various reasons e.g. financial constraints, depression, and domestic problems etc. These children have deprivation in their eyes watching the other fortunate kids going to school and have all the entertainment of life. Some of them are breadwinners, struggling hard to support their dependants financially. They are forced to do so as they do not have any other option for survival. Child labor is declared a crime if a child below certain age works. It should be properly identified and banned all over the world to protect the small kids.
The most exhilarating thing for the children is to dream about their future
Kids are certainly the future assets of any country. They get education now, serve the nation later and contribute in making it in a developed country. A child dreams of getting everything in this world whatever Allah has bestowed human beings with. The most exhilarating thing for the children is to dream about their future. They have a certain vision for their lives of becoming a doctor, teacher, lawyer, pilot, engineer etc.
Mission of life is the most significant thing which makes the person able to struggle hard and achieve whatever is desired. Every child aims to be a successful human being including the vulnerable kid who also dreams for his family to have all the luxuries of life, social security, justice and a good standard of living. This is a responsibility of their community members somehow to let them dream for their future and maintain and increase their desires for a better future.
Helping Hand for Relief and Development conducted a brief survey on assessment of children's wishes to contribute in country's development by getting education, attaining knowledge and striving for the nation's growth and development in every respect. HHRD discovered future plans of different children. International Conference on "Community based empowerment of vulnerable children" will expose the emotions of the deprived children and their passion to become qualified professional citizens of their country.
Each night there is a nightmare instead of a dream
This is a voice of a helpless child who is expressing grief at heart. It depicts that the most appalling poverty is loneliness and the feeling of being isolated and uncared. ICCEVC will be addressing the children's vulnerability in every respect including their isolation from their family as well as the rest of the community.
Our local communities should fulfill the vulnerable children's needs in terms of playing areas, healthy and clean environment. But unfortunately, only limited group of children are enjoying these festivities of life. Many kids are playing in road side areas which are exposed and become unsafe for them to enjoy freely. Clean and healthy activities enhance the child's personality. Community members should intervene in providing safe and secured environment to the children. HHRD's International Conference will address the community's role in constructing a healthy and pleasant environment for the poor kids which will further lead in building up children's skills or nourishing their inner capabilities. Moreover, it will provide a way to engage them in regular healthy activity with others in the community where they live.

Sports give a positive learning experience to everyone. Introducing sport to children is very essential. Sports are important not only for physical fitness, but also for mental growth. This is where support in enhancing co-curricular activities plays a very significant role. They help people get mental rest and also help them stay physically fit and healthy. It enhances self confidence, good sportsmanship and teamwork skills.

Prevalence of Status Discrimination in Most of the Local Communities
Social security is a right of every child. In most of the communities, this right is threatened by some influential people. Children have innocent souls and are sensitive at heart. Their social security is the moral obligation for all the community members. Every child needs a healthy and positive environment to help them live pleasant life.
Despite of the need of every child, this atmosphere is available to a particular class only. Many children are living their lives below the poverty line and have to face the intricate realities of this world.They have to bear the harshness of the societies backward in terms of education, culture and Islamic teachings. Most of them do not enjoy the festivities of life due to their susceptible situations as well as the traditional mindsets of their vulnerable communities. Helping Hand’s International Conference will be a source of discovering new ways to resolve these types of unconstructive societal contributions in the lives of deprived children.

HHRD’s International Conference will Reflect the Ray of Hope for the Vulnerable and Destitute Children.
Different people have different perceptions resulting in diverse solutions for a particular dilemma. For this reason, HHRD conducted a survey to assess the minds of the school going children and their viewpoints on their own susceptible conditions. The main objective of the survey was the assessment of children’s individual needs and the problems faced by them in routine life.
Helping Hand will Empower Vulnerable Children through Community, Fazal Ur Rehman
Country director HHRD, Fazal Ur Rehman said, this conference is a platform by Helping Hand to explore the ways to empower the most vulnerable children. He said HHRD wants to introduce a new concept of empowering children with the help of community, called "Community Based Empowerment of Vulnerable Children".
Fazal Ur Rehman briefed that in this conference, people from different sectors national or international including professors, media personnel and experts from the social sector are invited to share their ideas, discussions, paper presentations and effort to brainstorm to minimize the vulnerability and increase the protection of these children.
He further told that WATER conference in 2010 and conference on Interest free Microfinance in 2009 was held by HHRD and with the grace of ALLAH, both of them got huge appreciation. The main goal of HHRD is to make this conference productive and to facilitate the kids practically by sending the dropped children back to schools and protecting them.

The subject conference will try finding ways of addressing the child vulnerabilities through research papers, also; by showcasing the working models and best practices for rehabilitation and strengthening the safety-nets around children's issues.
